Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!  My hubby got breakfast made for him, and he is spending the day doing what he does best-fathering his 2 girls!  He’s got the patience of a saint, he’ll take them along with him just about anywhere.  Busy Canadian Tire?  He’ll bring the kids.  Need to clean the car?  Girls go with him.  So, on father’s day I get the house to myself.  Course, there’s a mountain of laundry, but I do my best work when I’m alone.

I don’t know how I ended up with him, but I thank the stars that he puts up with me!  He’s one of a kind!!!!!

Beautiful

I love this song. I know, I know, whiny popy James Blunt. But I really like him, he’s got great lyrics! This song for instance, it’s about him seeing a woman and falling in love with her at first sight. First sight, and remembering her forever. Do you know what that idea does to a woman? Especially a hopeless romantic such as myself? It turns her insides to mush, that’s what it does. Love this song, not too keen on the video though.

Take away one thing from this post today-especially with Valentine’s day being tomorrow-it’s not about the grand gestures, it’s the little romantic things that will hook the one that you love and keep them there.
